Your Servant’s Thoughts….

Come on a mental journey with me! March is almost here. When I think of
March, I think of Spring (March 20). When I think of Spring, I think of growth.
When I think of growth, I think of spiritual growth. When I think of spiritual growth, I think of Connect Groups/Sunday School. Whew!! We made the journey.

You may be thinking, “why would you associate spiritual growth with Connect Groups? Well let me tell you!

1) Connect Groups give folks the opportunity to dig into God’s word and apply it. That brings spiritual growth!
2) Connect Groups allow individuals to “connect” with other believers who will pour into their lives. That brings spiritual growth!
3) Connect Groups allow you to invest in the lives of other believers, making life about more than just you. That brings spiritual growth!
4) Connect Groups encourage believers to share their faith by word and deed. That brings spiritual growth!

I could go on for a long time. The point is that Connect Groups are vital to what God wants to do in our lives and through our church. If you are part of a Connect Group—make your participation in that group a priority in your schedule on Sunday and throughout the week. Pray about helping start new Connect Groups so others can enjoy that blessing. If you are not in a Connect Group, let us help
you find one. Your fellow Christ followers and the Lord are waiting for you there!
